Bobby Thompson is a 23-year-old racing driver, competing for the third season in the British Touring Car Championship in 2020.

Having won the 2017 VW cup championship, with six wins and two-second place
finishes, he went on to compete with Team Hard in the BTCC in both 2018 and
2019. This year and a move to Trade Price Cars Racing, he will be behind the wheel of the race-winning Audi S3 looking for podium finishes and the ultimate goal of being the 2020 BTCC Champion.

Bobby has been racing for six years and has set lap records at the world-famous
Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, as well as many UK tracks.

In 2012, Bobby was identified by the Motor Sports Association (MSA) as being a
potentially elite competitor and has gone on to excel in the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence and is a registered ARDS instructor.

However, the ultimate accolade was being invited in 2018 to become a member of the BRDC as a Rising Star. For this young Essex driver an amazing feat and will
continue to represent this exclusive club with great honour.

Bobby also works as a performance driving coach working for car manufacturers demonstrating what their cars are capable of. Bobby also works as a professional racing instructor, working with racetracks and track day organisations coaching guests with their high-speed driving experience.

He also works with other racing drivers in the lower rank race championships,
coaching them to hone their skills and to help find those final tenths of a second in their racing laps, to make them better racers.

"With the experience, I have gained through years of racing, if you wish to drive your performance sports car at speed and within a safe environment or if you are trying to find those final tenths of a second from your race laps, I can help. It's not always about spending money on the car; sometimes more can be found in the driver." - Bobby Thompson
